Sharpie Attack

I should never assume that when I cant hear Elle for awhile, she is upstairs playing with her toys or reading a book. Yesterday, after 5 minutes of not hearing a sound, I ran upstairs to find her painting every part of her body with blue, red and green sharpies! The pictures dont do it justice, because she was covered..she got her scalp, face, arms, legs, shirt, shorts, feet, hands, not to mention the bathroom and carpet. The bathroom came off ok with alcohol...any suggestions for the carpet?
one of the many streaks on her scalp
This is a little better picture of her legs...I picked her up, fed her dinner (without a bib...like she needed one at that point) and took her to the pool! The chlorine helped to lighten the colors a little!

Oh my heck Chels! What a little punk-bucket. That's what I call my kids when they do crazy stuff like that (and they ALL do!). I have a few friends who have dealt with the Sharpie Attack. I'll ask around and see if I can find out any good carpet removal ideas... I better put my Sharpies more out of reach...

Sharpies??!!!? Good luck with that one! She's going to be a lady of many colors for a few days! Sorry, no ideas for the carpet. Aren't kids fun? I really do mean that :)

This is hysterical! Don't you just wonder what was going through her little head while she was doing it?

I don't have any good carpet/stain ideas except vinegar & water (equal parts). I don't know how that'll do on Sharpie.

Wow! I don't know what I would do if one of my kids did this. I can tell you what Tommy would do to me - I'd be sleeping outside.

Oh little Elle, you Mommy is WAY cooler than this Mommy. I would have freaked the heck out!! My girls did that at my Grandma;s house. I had put them to bed and didn't think to check all her drawers beforehand. I about lost my mind...

I love that you have a great sense of humor and could take pics!

Oh my word! That's truly amazing. Sharpies have been banned from our house...but somehow I have two in my car...wouldn't that be lovely!

This is my worst nightmare. But I had to laugh, mostly because they were sharpies! I bet it took days to come off!
